Economy 


  •      Lagos is the main economic center of the country. In fact, in Lagos, we can find the vast majority of industries of Nigeria; it also moves a large part of the country 's trade due to its port and its international airport.
  •        The economy of the country is based on farming , livestock (second economical activity) and the exportation of several products such as onions. Throughout the Niger river, fishing is a common practice too.
  •          The tertiary sector represents 50% of the GDP and it's formed mainly by trade, the financial sector, insurances...among others.
  • Trade is the second most important activity after farming.




Types of dwelling

  •        The economy  of the inhabitants is directly linked to where they live, depending on the area of Lagos, we can find different types of dwellings according to the wealth of its people.
  •       In a wealthy neighborhood, penthouses, duplexes and mansions are common.

We can also find more affordable dwellings such as terraced houses and townhouses. And finally, in the slums, wooden houses standing over the water, mud houses, bungalows and container houses.
